Is this true about child sex offenders? How the justice was done in this case?
I posted this once before but it was very odd time (2 a.m.) so posting it at more suitable time. If you have seen this please bare with me. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sentence awarded: No Jail Time 3 Years' House Arrest 7 Years' Probation Relevant part of article: Sex offender treatment such as that dictated for Debra Lafave is important, Duncan said. Treatment techniques, however, were tailored for male offenders, a problem because as many as 38 percent of sex offenders are women. "Women have a different denial system," Duncan said. It is harder for female sex offenders to admit they did something wrong. Society reinforces this with the stereotype that young boys are willing participants. "Her being a beautiful woman also goes toward her denial," Duncan said. "She doesn't fit [the image of] the dirty old man on the street in a raincoat." How the justice was done? Complete article: http://news.tbo.com/news/MGBL1FT6DGE.html It would be great to know the opinion of “proud to be woman" who thinks all men are rapist...... Oops.........typo .........BEAR with me ricky, I don't understand how your answer is reverent to my question. Please advise....

- This sort of issue is of no interest to feminists. Why? Because it involves a woman doing wrong... they can afford to sweep this under the carpet and 'forget' about it. Only men who do wrong are of interest... For every one man doing wrong, it adds 'weight' to their 'less than subtle' argument that all men are evil. I mean, only 1% of men are in prison - but apparently, *any* man is a potential rapist. We really should just lock all men up until they're too old to do anything. But, I daresay the feminists would still find something to complain about.
- Look at the case in the last few months of that women that raped, murdered and put that little girl's body in a suitcase and tossed her in to a pond. The details are so horrible they say they had to seal the case, right more like seal the truth about women.
- I think the whole sex offender thing is WAY overblown. Rapists are rapists. Violent rapists (or those who use drugs to rape) need to be put in prison. That's it. I don't think it should matter how old the victim was... Otherwise I think some minor jail time and house arrest is perfectly appropriate. Especially if it was a consequential relationship (even if the law doesn't recognize it as such.)
- Sorry G I can't agree with your answer. So your saying it's ok for me (a 23 year old) to rape a 2 month old toddler as long as I'm not "violent" or I don't drug them? I should just be allowed some silly house arrest for a while then I'm done? That's just wacky. Rapists should be punished and by punished I mean jail. I'm going to assume you mean that cases like this were the victim wasn't exactly a kid but not legally old enough to consent should be treated lightly which I can't say I agree with either but I can understand it more. I'm tired of saying this but if it was a man who did what she did he would be in the jail for a very long time. Feminists are against double standards only when it doesn't benefit women. On a quick side note punishing two underage teenagers i.e two 15 year olds is barmy as well. If they are both the same age (or say a few years either side) then the law should keep it's nose out but then again even in those situations it's always the boy who gets the rape charge pretty sure I even saw one boy being charged with rape and he was younger than his girlfriend! (That might be wrong because I can't find the article but I'm sure it is legit.) I'd honestly love for someone to post a link to a story that shows a female rapist getting more than a few years jail time because quite honestly I don't recall seeing any. I've certainly never saw any getting life sentences that mean seem to get quite a bit for rapes (again quite right).
- Whatever, I think all rapists need to be put in jail for a long time. I don't care if you're a woman, or a man.
