Can you dry clean using a tumble dryer for suede jackets?
I have a suede brown jacket that has a smoke smell that makes you sick. I have tumble dryer, would this help in somewhat cleaning the jacket? I don't want to use water because that will ruin it

- Dry Cleaning simply means that water is not used in the cleaning process. Generally, they use solvents to remove stains. The simplest cure for a suede jacket is to sprinkle it with bicarbonate of soda - and leave it for as long as possible (at least a couple of days). The bicarbonate should absorb the smell. Shake the jacket off and give it a good brush (with a soft hairbrush - like a baby's brush), and then leave to hang out in the open for a while. Certainly - DON'T use water. It will leave a mark.
- I own a heavy suede coat i wash all the time in washer on pr emanate press cycle and dry on gentle cycle aways comes out fine.
