How to Soften Stiff Suede Jacket?

I just bought a used beige suede jacket but the suede leather is really stiff. How do you soften it? I looked on the internet for answers but they were all different and one told me I shouldn't do anything because suede is so delicate.

1. Find a leather repair shop in your area. Suede is not the easiest to deal with just as leather is not. If you do not want to pay for them to do it for you, they can sell you or tell you where you can buy a treatment to put on it. It is a liquid, and you saturate the jacket with it and let it air dry. It has been so long since we have used it, I cannot remember the name of it. All you have to do is call and ask them for something that makes suede soft again, and they will know what you are talking about. We send all of our off to have them done bc the suppliers stopped carrying it due to such a low demand for it.
