How to clean a suede Jacket!?

I took my light tan suede jacket to the cleaners to see if they could clean it. I was told that yes they could but it would cost £42.00!!!! Needless to say I decided against it. Does anyone know a cheaper way of doing this...maybe a product I could use or a company who could do it for a more reasonable amount. Thanks Avis

2. A great way to clean suede is to pop it over steaming (boiling) water. Buy yourself a wire brush from a shoe shop or shoe repairer and use that to brush the suede over the steam. It'll bring the jacket up like new!
3. Buy some very fine sandpaper and gently sand the stains etc all in one direction not putting too much preasure as you can make a hole. Get a garment steamer, there are small travelling steamers that are inexpensive and gently steam the jacket, again not too close to suede. Good luck
